The importance of self-regulation

Positive emotions are very important but we do not have to forget the negative ones. It is vital to know how to manage negative emotions instead of stopping them. There are three basic areas we can work on and we will call them ACT: Action, Calming and Thinking. All those skills are teachable and learnable to manage negative emotions better.
