I don''t know what I did wrong, but I made this build and the Crystal Torrent damage output was nowhere near the death stream I see in this video. I didn't have the Magic Scorpion Charm because Seluvis died, but the rest was the same. Weird.
this build is kinda close too mine, but im a lvl 87 i use incantations and sorceries, i run the dragon seal and meteorite staff. i use mostly pebble, comet azur , rotten breath, loretta’s longbow, rock sling, and poison mist( ik it’s cheesy, it’s my first play through give it too me lol ) and i have pretty much every damage type except thunder so with prep i can normally run a certain set of spells too isolate on a boss’s weaknesses . oh i do have my armor load down in light since im already kinda glass cannon the light roll beats the armor benefits too me lol .
The 20 strength just to use the jellyfish shield is not worth it.
I wanna share my version of this build with u and I wanna know ur opinion because I'm over lvl 200 and u inspired my crystal battle mage the stats are hard 2 get but the build is godly
Thanks!
Fucking legend for doing low lvl build to keep it open ended for higher lvl planning
If I have 60 int what is a good head piece for this build
Is there a video of this Build on lvl 150???
How are you suppose to get the Crystal torrent spell if your using a mage? The Crystal enemies that have it are so strong against all my spells?
Why isn’t he using the offhand buffs? Did I miss something?
ill first play at maximum level , then my second play thru will be 200 lvl, then lower, after enough knowlede ill play without cheats, thats how i beat DS1 i love ds1
Thanks for the video really helped ALOT !!
Dude. Enough with the big ugly jellyfish shield.
Nice vidéo thanks 👏🏽
Carian Regal Spectre has the best passive attack. The spin weapon ash it comes build it's so freaking good and when u have the jellyfish shield u cannot used it.
So I rather off hand staff of loss and have Carian Spectre +10. When they get close use the passive attack. But usually kill everything with night comet before the enemies even know they in a fight
Is there anyway to somewhat get close to making a necromancer? I would love suggestions please
This video is amazing, thanks so much. I've got my mage kitted out almost exactly as per this vid, but I'm just not getting the mileage out of Crystal Torrent. How are you casting it / channelling it without draining your FP? Example, the clip at the very beginning of this video, your FP isn't draining as you cast the Crystal Torrent. Am I missing something?
Could you do a late game gravity mage?
Would it be possible to take the skill off the jellyfish shield and apply it to another small shield? Kinda the same idea as you did with the rapier you get from Rogier?
U should name the 150 astral mage
Which Staff is now very the Best to use?
Anyone have tips on mage/knight hybrid?
Why not use golden order seal that scales off int? Wouldn’t that make the hot better?
Looking at your stat spread you legit could have gone wretch from start and been in better shape with about 7-8 more stat points by level 100. Way too much division of stats to warrant choosing anything else. Only stat you have below 10 is arc and even then.. It's 9 lol
I want a glass cannon build for mage that does massive damage
You make all the builds look cool, I can’t decide
Crystal torrent and shattering crystal
@fextralife Seems that there are several spells and items that would be fairly to difficult to get at this level and without the actual spells you reference to help you. Are you getting this far with CoOp help? i.e Crystal Torrent is pretty close to impossible to get with only Rock and Glint to help you.
i have that staff its still at +9 how do i get it to + 10 i dont know where to find that stone to upgrade it at
What spell is that used at the 7:50 time stamp? Where you’re standing in a protective circle/barrier
Cool build. Bit of a different approach from what I'm doing with my caster. I am forgoing anything that has any strength or dex requirements beyond what Radagon's Soreseal provides in order to have all my points available for int, mind, and vigor. I invested 3 points in endurance as well to allow me to wear the Scaled Armor set (aside from the head). I'm currently running 80 int (soft cap), mind and vigor are in the high 30s, and as I said 3 extra points in endurance on top of what the Soreseal provides. I'm a few levels above 100 (can't recall exactly off the top of my head). I'm main-handing the Wing of Astel sword (currently +9) for the awesome Ash of War, which can do thousands of damage to large enemies as well as decimate tightly packed foes for a reasonable FP cost). The sword also has decent int scaling, so you can get some grits or just whack some weak enemies to save FP. I'm wielding a fully upgraded Carian Regal Sceptre in my left hand. Once I have the Lusat staff fully upgraded, I will likely switch it in for boss fights. My bread and butter sorceries are the Glintstone Icecrag and Adula's Moonblade (this spell is INSANE by the way), both of which are boosted by wearing the Snow Witch hat. Also packing Terra Magicus, Rock Sling, Loretta's Great Bow, and that Radhan gravity spell from the War-Dead Catacombs (name is eluding me). I also love Stars of Ruin at this point in the game, as its tracking makes it extremely useful against highly mobile enemies, which are plentiful in the mid to late game, and the damage is now pretty high with the massive scaling I have from soft-capped int and a +10 staff. I have the Cannon for AoE and Ranni's Dark moon for the awesome debuff. I would like to try out the crystal release spell, as it looks pretty nuts in your video, though I wonder if it will drop off a cliff at a certain point like Comet Azur did for me (I'm not using it at all any more, though I did get to one-shot Radhan with it). Talismans are Radagon's Soreseal, Graven School Talisman (to be upgraded to the Graven School Mass when I get it), Radagon Icon, and Godfrey Icon. Anyway, love to see all these different approaches to casters. I love magic builds in Elden Ring for the incredible versatility and power they provide.
Surprised you didn’t use the rotten crystal staff instead
I want to use carian regal and renallas full moon can you make a build based on these?
I am so ready for the endgame build of this lets goooooooooooo
Rotten Crystal Staff? Additional Rot?
do you have a level 150 guide?
Where can I find this gear you tall about here?
