Yeah, why would anyone collect digital stuff? NFTs don't have intrinsic value like small cardboard rectangles with cute Pokemons painted on them.
It’s funny how close you are to seeing why companies and communities value NFTs but you only see them as the mainstream 2d images instead. Richards NFTs don’t stand out, most NFTs are small teams or small artists raising money for a project or cause. The big hype ones like Bored Apes are the basically mint condition gen 1 first edition Pokémon cards, except this time people are gambling on future value over current value. All the other NFTs are just your average collectors cards, it’s about the cards and the project, not any perceived value.
The names of these NFTs sound like the titles to gay pornos.
I cannot fucking believe that they promoted an NFT on the late Stan Lees twitter. That’s clinically insane.
It's important to know that NFTs aren't just jpgs, either, that's just the laziness of the community at it's finest. They can represent things like contracts, invoices, receipts, identification, any kind of report, etc.
I agree that the current state of NFTs is a joke because people are not utilizing the tech to its full potential, but generalizing by saying it's all BS isn't fair to the tech. Give it time to mature! The ETH blockchain is already really close to being gas-free and carbon-neutral, so the tech does have a promising future.

Nft is money laundering for the rich so they can trade things like drugs and justify the big money transaction with the banks by saying shitty little GIF was the reason for the big money transfer.
NFT's are very distressing. Limiting the production of something that can be produced infinitely is already a scam. The slow rugs, insta-rugs, manipulation scams…all of these things are just a derivative of an already totally corrupt concept.
As far as I can see, NFTs are just a flashy bait to get suckers to buy into crypto, because crypto is useless as a currency. You can’t buy real-world goods or services with bitcoin, you need to get someone else to buy your crypto off you for real money.
NFTs and crypto are just a new legal way to money launder.

NFT's are like cel art from shows you can buy. There are plenty of reproductions, but you have the official cel. The only difference is that it doesn't take coal or renewable energy to keep your cel.

If Quinton Tarantino wants to take a picture of his foot and make an NFT of it and someone wants to buy it… why do you care? I have never been to an art gallery or bought an art piece. I would rather spend my money on tacos. I have never bought an NFT. But who am i to say what people should be able to create or not create. Who am I to tell YOU what you should ir shouldnt purchase. Some people in my opinion waste their lives playing video games. Who cares.
